In Vermont we are fortunate to have a large quantity of USGS gauges in current operation.  Using this to our advantage means building strong correlations between the optimal levels for our whitewater runs and the most closely representative gauges.  The cornerstone of this site is a system to collect reports on rivers levels and relate those to corresponding gauges.  You can join the effort by reporting levels and learning more about this work on the flow reporting page.
